House cleaning · Lackawanna County, PA

A spotless house, and a price before anyone knocks.

Most cleaners make you book a visit before they'll tell you a number. Move four sliders and you'll have yours in about ten seconds — the same flat price we'd say on the phone.

Your price, before you speak to anyone

No estimate visit. No hourly meter. No surprises.

A flat price for your house. If we get faster at your place, you still pay the same — that's our problem to solve, not yours to fund.

What kind of clean?

Your first visit is always a deep clean. It's the only honest way to price the upkeep after it — otherwise we'd be quoting a house we've never properly cleaned, and you'd be paying for our guess.

A half bath counts as 0.5.

Not sure? It's on your county tax record — or just estimate and we'll confirm when we talk.

We love them. Hair just takes longer, so it's a small addition up front rather than a surprise on the day.

Call and book it Or send three details

Pennsylvania charges 6% sales tax on house cleaning. We show it on its own line instead of quietly folding it into the rate.

One honest caveat. If a house turns out to be in far worse shape than described, we tell you before we start and give you the real number — never after. That right is written into the booking terms so it can never turn into an argument on a doorstep.

How it goes

Three steps, and you can stop after any of them.

1

One call, two minutes

Beds, baths, rough size, how it's been kept, and how we get in. You get a firm flat price on that call — not a range, and not a visit to arrange another visit.

2

The first deep clean

The long one — baseboards, inside the appliances, grout, the parts skipped for months. The before-and-after photo set lands the same day, room by room, whether you were home or not.

3

Keep it, or don't

Liked it? We hold the same day every two weeks and it stays that way. No contract, no cancellation fee, no phone call to talk you out of leaving.

In the open

Nobody publishes their checklist. Here's ours.

The actual list our cleaner works from, in this order, in every house. It's laminated and it goes in the door with her.

Kitchen

  • Counters and backsplash
  • Cabinet fronts and handles
  • Sink scrubbed, faucet polished
  • Stovetop degreased
  • Microwave inside and out
  • Floors mopped to the edges

Bathrooms

  • Toilet, base and behind
  • Shower and tub, scum removed
  • Hard water on glass and tile
  • Mirror left streak-free
  • Chrome polished dry
  • Floor washed by hand at edges

Bedrooms & living

  • Dusted top down — fans, sills
  • Surfaces cleared, wiped, replaced
  • Beds made, linens if left out
  • Mirrors and glass
  • Vacuumed under reachable furniture
  • Hard floors mopped

Every room, every time

  • Switches and door handles
  • Baseboards spot-cleaned
  • Cobwebs and ceiling lines
  • Final walk from the front door in
  • Before and after photos

Two things we ask at the start. "What's the one thing that, if it isn't done right, makes the whole clean feel like it didn't happen?" and "Is there anywhere you'd rather we didn't go?" The first tells us how you'll actually judge the job. The second gets respected without you ever having to raise it again.

The part that actually worries people

You're not really buying a clean house. You're deciding who gets a key.

Every one of these was written down before we took a single job — not invented because you asked.

Insured and bonded

General liability plus a janitorial bond, which is the one that covers theft from a client's home specifically. Ask and we'll send the certificate before we ever come out.

Photos of every room

Before and after, sent the same day. It's how we check our own work, and it means neither of us ever argues about what a room looked like. Nothing identifying is ever in frame — no mail, no documents, no screens, no people.

The same person, every visit

Not a rotating crew. You'll know who's coming, and she'll know you hate a streaky mirror and that the dog can't get past the kitchen.

If we break something, you hear it from us

Same day, with a photo, before you've noticed. We stop, photograph it where it lies, and call you with an offer to put it right. Our cleaners never pay for it personally — that's exactly how breakages end up hidden.

Keys and codes handled properly

One documented way in per house. Codes live in the job record, never a group chat or a text thread. Keys are tagged by code, never by address, and logged in and out. If anyone leaves, access changes that day.

Plain cancellation terms

Twenty-four hours' notice to move or cancel, free, every time. Inside that window there's a partial charge, because the slot was held for you and the cleaner is still paid for the trip.

We're new here, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Housewarm started in 2026, so there's no wall of reviews on this page and we won't invent one. Behind it are years of hotel and private-home cleaning, a written standard for every room, and photographic proof of every job.

You don't have to take a stranger's word for any of it. Book one clean, look at the photos, decide from there. That's the whole pitch.

Where we go

Clarks Summit, Scranton, and the towns between.

We only list places we'll actually drive to. If your town isn't here, ask anyway — we'd rather answer honestly than take a job we can't reach on time.

Questions people actually ask

Straight answers.

Do I need to be home while you clean?

No, and most of our clients aren't. We agree one documented way in before the first visit — a lockbox, a smart lock code, a key we hold, or you letting us in — and it doesn't change without your say-so. You get the photo set either way, so being out doesn't mean being in the dark.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes — general liability and a janitorial bond, which covers theft from a client's premises specifically. Ask and we'll email the certificate before you book.

Do you bring your own supplies and vacuum?

Everything. If you'd rather we used a particular product in your house — stone-safe, unscented, or anything you have a reason for — tell us at intake and it becomes part of your job record.

How much does the first clean cost?

Move the sliders further up this page and you'll have the number. The first visit is a deep clean and costs more than the upkeep visits after it — usually around 1.75 times a regular clean, because that's the visit where baseboards, appliance interiors and grout get dealt with properly.

Do you do one-time cleans, or only recurring?

Both. A one-time clean is priced higher than the same house on a schedule, which is just honest about what it costs us — no route to plan around, no repeat visit to spread the setup over. No pressure to convert, and nobody will call you to push it.

Is it the same cleaner every time?

Yes. That's deliberate and it's one of the main reasons we exist. Rotating crews are how houses get cleaned to a generic standard instead of yours.

What happens if something gets broken?

You hear about it from us the same day, with a photo, and with an offer to put it right — before you've had a chance to find it yourself.

Almost nobody publishes an answer to this, which is exactly why we do. A breakage handled openly makes a client for years. A breakage you discover a week later costs us the client, the review, and every referral after it.

Why is there sales tax on house cleaning?

Because Pennsylvania taxes residential cleaning services at 6%. A lot of cleaners here quietly fold it into their rate or skip it altogether. We show it as its own line so you can see exactly what you're paying for the clean and what's going to Harrisburg.

Book a clean

Fastest way is to call. Second fastest is three boxes.

We ask for a name, a number and a town. Everything else we'll sort on the phone — no twelve-field form to fill in before anyone talks to you.

Just call us

You'll get a person, not a queue and not a call centre. If we're mid-job we call you back the same day — usually within the hour.
