Policies
What we do when something goes wrong.
Written down before we took a single job, published here so you never have to ask. Almost nobody in this trade publishes these — which is exactly why we do.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Twenty-four hours' notice to move or cancel a visit, free, every time and without explanation.
Inside that window there is a partial charge, because the slot was held for you and the cleaner is still paid for the trip. Two consecutive no-accesses ends a recurring slot — not as a penalty, but because somebody else wants that morning.
If we break something
You hear it from us the same day, with a photo, and with an offer to put it right — before you have found it yourself.
We stop, photograph it where it lies, and call. Our cleaners never pay for it personally, because that is precisely how breakages end up hidden, and hidden damage is what actually ends cleaning companies.
Keys, codes and access
One documented way in per house, agreed before the first visit. Codes live in the job record, never in a group chat and never in a text thread. Keys are tagged by code, never by address, and logged in and out with one holder at a time.
A lost key is a same-day report and a lock change at our cost. If anyone leaves the company, access is changed that day.
Photographs and your privacy
Every room is photographed before and after, for quality control and so neither of us ever has to argue about how a room looked. Nothing identifying is ever in frame — no mail, no documents, no screens, no people. Camera location tagging is off.
Those photos are for your job record. They are never published anywhere without your separate, written opt-in, and that opt-in can be withdrawn at any time.
Requoting on arrival
If a house is in materially worse condition than described, we tell you before we start and give you the real number. Never after, and never mid-job.
You can decline and we leave, with nothing owed. This right is written into the booking terms specifically so it can never become an argument on a doorstep.
Pennsylvania sales tax
Residential cleaning is taxable in Pennsylvania at 6%. We add it on top of the published price and show it as its own line on every invoice, rather than folding it quietly into the rate.
